Commentary: Finally Showing Some Improvement…
Some commentary from your webmaster…
Episode #5, “The Education of Jaime Sommers,” may have been my favorite episode yet, after recently writing a column about how the Jaime character had become unsympathetic and rendering me apathetic.
The episode had a few things going for it that I had not seen before in the series. For starters, Michelle Ryan really should be allowed to keep her natural accent. Not only is it very sexy; but the honesty in Ryan’s performance shines through more. I don’t know if it is the tone of voice, or the fact that maybe she tries too hard to sound American; either way, it worked.
Secondly, FINALLY LESS BECCA. Lyndsey Wagner didn’t need a little sister, and neither does Jaime.
Third, as much as I love Katee Sackhoff as Sarah Corvus, she steals the show whenever she’s on and brings out the flaws in the rest of the show. Focusing on Jaime here… was a very good thing.
And then finally, the addition of Jordan Bridges as Tom. Let’s be honest here: Jaime and Will Anthros had little to no chemistry at all. Here, there’s some spark. I hope to see it continue.
Either way, it seems a step in the right direction for me. Agree/disagree? Leave a comment, or visit the forum!
Episode #1.8 Title & Spoilers; New Official Descriptions
NBC has released official descriptions for the Nov. 14 and 28 episodes of Bionic Woman. These descriptions contain new spoilers!
No Bionic Woman On Nov. 21
Apparently NBC is skipping another week in their November schedule for Bionic Woman, which hopefully won’t kill future ratings.
After new episodes on Nov. 7 and 14, NBC is pre-empting the show on November 21 for a 2-hour Deal Or No Deal special.
After that, Bionic Woman returns on Nov. 28.

NBC has released some images from “The List,” the Bionic Woman episode currently scheduled for November 7.
More Creative Changes For Bionic Woman
The behind-the-scenes staff of Bionic Woman is changing yet again.
Award-winning writer Jason Cahill (The Sopranos) is the latest new show-runner to take a crack at Jaime Sommers & company. NBC really seems to want to make things work, but will it be too late? Ratings dropped yet again for this week’s show.
For Mr. Cahill if he’s reading this, five words: Let Sarah Corvus take over.
That is all.

Title For Episode #7 Revealed; No Episode Scheduled For October 31
The title for the November 14 episode of Bionic Woman will be “Trust Issues.” At this time, that is the only detail that has been released.
In other news, Episode #6, “The List,” is scheduled for November 7, with a two-hour Phenomenon instead planned for Oct. 31.

Playing Catch-Up…
Hello, BionicWebsite visitors!
I’d like to apologize to all of you for not having an announcement about this week’s episode, “Face Off,” or a link to the forum on Wednesday night. I was on airplanes all day, returning to L.A. from Maryland, and just was unable to catch up. If you’d like to discuss “Face Off” with other fans, be sure to visit the forum.
Other announcements: The spoilers page has been updated with information on the next two episodes, so check that out.
Ratings for Bionic Woman have still been fairly good but they’ve been moving downward; a trend that hopefully will not continue. As of this writing only the initial 13 episodes have been ordered.
I’d also like to ask those of you who may be reading: Has Bionic Woman been living up to your expectations? I’ll be honest, and I hate to say this considering I’ve set up this website and everything - I’m a bit disappointed thus far. I know there has been a lot of behind-the-scenes reshuffling, and hopefully it will recover, but I’m not totally sure. There are some good actors on this show (especially Miguel Ferrer, who has been excellent in everything he’s done), but it seems like four episodes in, the only character I myself seem to care about is Sarah Corvus. It’s not that I dislike Jaime et al, I just have a bit of trouble caring. Is anyone else having this problem? I’m going to try and make it so comments are allowed on this one because I’m curious what you may think. (I’m not sure how to access the Comment feature from the main page, so access this individual article and scroll down to the bottom in order to comment.)
I just hope I can continue to do a competent job on this site when the excitement has died down a bit. Hopefully the next few episodes will re-energize the spark the original trailer had, which inspired me to create BionicWebsite in the first place.

Episodic Schedule Confusion…
Here on BionicWebsite, we’ve referred to episode #1.2 for a while as “Birds.” The third episode was to be “Paradise Lost.”
Imagine our surprise when tonight, the episode NBC airing was…. you’ve got it… “Paradise Lost.” Apparently “Birds” has been pulled from the schedule, and some story elements were carried over into the new, possibly better third episode, which was bumped up.
So there you have it. #2 “Paradise Lost,” #3 “Sisterhood,” #4 “Face-Off.” We’ll update the spoilers page and galleries accordingly. Our apologies for the confusion.
Images From Another Upcoming Episode: “Sisterhood”
The new images keep coming in.
Now, NBC has released several episodes from an episode titled “Sisterhood,” which we think is the Oct. 17 episode. (We say “think” because the episode and title order itself seems to be a bit confusing. If anyone from NBC or the show is reading and can give us the correct order, please e-mail us.)

Isaiah Washington’s Antonio Pope In A Bionic Spin-Off?
The New York Post is reporting that things are going so well for Isaiah Washington, that his character may spin off into his own series.
“There’s been some relative excitement about my presence,” Washington told the Post. ”I may end up doing more than five episodes. I don’t see myself becoming a series regular but there’s some talk about spinning me off into my own show once Bionic Woman becomes a huge hit.”
Thanks to Marcus from the Bionicast for the tip. You can read the entire article here.
