Man, everybody has an opinion on bionic woman and they all have various criticisms, even about aspects of the show that I like.

I think the show is unexpectedly good and while I can't compare the remake with the original show (i wasn't even born yet when the first show aired), i think the current show makes more sense for the modern audience (most likely).

And I have to say, there's a lot of wrong info floating on this fansite. I was skimming about and immediately, i found info that was attributed to NBC.com even though there was no such info on the actual page.

for example, Will yun lee's character's name is NOT Jae Huang. according to NBC, it's Jae Kim. Second of all, he's the specialized operations leader. NOT the....whatever the heck researcher this website claims him to be. I think the wrong info came from wikia...which of course, is about as accurate as a monkey on crack.

I am sorry to say that I do disagree with you. I must admit, episode 5 was very good and I enjoyed most of it I still feel that the others complete the show. You can go on and on about the old show but let's face it, this is the new and improved version emphasis on NEW. You don't compair the Lord of the rings cartoon with the movies do you? lol.

I liked the whole Jaime/Will thing and I think they should have kept him on a bit more, could have lead to some interesting confrontations.

There's no question that "Education" was light years ahead of "Paradise Lost". There's also no question that requiring Jaime to be an American was a mistake, and a needless one at that. I can think of no explanation for it. American audiences have no qualms about shelling out to see James Bond, they go ga-ga over the Queen, they welcomed the Beatles with open arms, and the U.S. has no greater supporter in war than Great Britain. America loves the Brits. I've yet to read a negative comment regarding Michelle's accent in the last episode. However, what is is.and it's kind of late to go back and do it right.

I have issues with how the whole Jaime/Antonio Paraguay incident just vanished as though it never happened. Stand-alone eppies are a curse. How can a wholesale breakdown in Paraguay be completely forgotten one week later?. Antonio didn't even complain of sore ribs, although he must surely have still had Jaime's heal marks all over him.

And what would be wrong with having evil villains with more ambition than just turning a quick buck? What ever happened to global domination? The show is steadily improving but it has a lot of work to do yet. Where is the danger and the tension here? Jaime is never in any real danger. Sure she had to ward off the involuntary juggling guy, who she could pistol whip with her bionic pinky if pressed for time, and she did have that professor pissed at her, but where's the sweaty palm stuff that "Alias" churned out 5 times per episode? That brings us back to the dreaded stand-alone eppies. The ones with NO cliffhangers.

The best thing that could happen to BW is that Eick and his writers could spend Monday sitting in front of the tube with a tub of popcorn and watch the Bourne movies. Then on Tuesday, they could order pizza and treat themselves to an "Alias" marathon. Wednesday would be a good day to stay in and watch MI3. Thursday would be an excellent time to check out the best season of "24". Then, on Friday they could sit down and write an episode of BW, remembering the action, the drama, the close calls, the narrow escapes, the cool gadgets, the big schemes, the backstabbing, the lies., etc. etc. etc.

Something important would happen that day. The sagging ratings would reverse course and start to climb. .
